Terms of service
Using LectureBot
LectureBot is a study tool for students. You need an account to use it, and you're responsible for keeping your sign-in secure.
Recording lectures
You're responsible for making sure you're allowed to record. Follow your institution's rules and your instructors' wishes, and only record where recording is permitted.
Your content
You own what you record and upload. You give us permission to store and process it to provide the service — transcribing it, generating study material from it, and sharing it with the people you choose.
Sharing
When you share a class, the people you share with get their own copy of that material. Only share material you have the right to share.
Generated material
Notes, callouts, study guides and tests are generated automatically and can contain mistakes. Use them to help you study, not as a substitute for your course materials.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service, try to access other people's data, or use LectureBot to break the law or your institution's rules.
Changes and availability
LectureBot is in early access. Features may change, and we may update these terms — we'll tell you about significant changes.
